There's a pattern in enterprise software that almost every long-running product eventually falls into. The core works well, customers trust it, and so features get added. Year after year. Each addition makes sense on its own. But over time the interface accumulates weight. Functions end up scattered across menus. Users who just need to manage documents find themselves navigating a system that was built for every use case except theirs.

We've been building infoRouter since 1998. Organizations like Boeing, ExxonMobil, Deloitte, Lockheed Martin, and Walgreens use it to manage documents they cannot afford to lose or misplace. We serve customers across 50+ countries, from Fortune 500 enterprises to small organizations managing massive document volumes. That trust isn't given lightly, and we don't take it for granted.

Which is exactly why we keep reinvesting in the product.

infoRouter V9 is the most significant architectural overhaul we've undertaken in years. Not because the current system is broken, but because we hold ourselves to a standard: every version of infoRouter should feel like it was built for today.

A More Focused System

Over 25 years, features get added. That's how software grows. But it's also how interfaces get cluttered and how administrative functions end up living in unexpected places. In V9, we've done the work of reorganizing. Each major function now has a purpose-built home. The things administrators and users reach for constantly are front and center. Advanced functions that only some users need are available but no longer in everyone's way.

The result is a system that feels intentional rather than accumulated.

A New Control Panel

The V9 Control Panel gives system administrators a complete overview of their infoRouter environment the moment they log in: version status, license information, storage usage, user counts, pending tasks, and quick access to the most common administrative functions. Everything on a single screen, with no digging through nested menus.

It also works on mobile. Administrators can check system status, manage users, and access key functions from any device. For teams where the IT administrator isn't always at their desk, this matters.

Performance You'll Actually Feel

The backend has been substantially rebuilt. Document operations, search, page loads, and system interactions are all significantly faster. We're continuing to push further on performance as we approach release, but the improvements are already meaningful in day-to-day use.

A New Look

The visual redesign touches every part of the system. Clean layouts, modern typography, and an interface that finally looks like software built in 2025. We'll be sharing more screenshots as we get closer to release.

What's Next

We'll announce the beta timeline as we get closer. If you're a current customer, your reseller will be in touch with details.

Twenty-five years in production. Trusted by some of the world's most demanding organizations. Rebuilt for the next 25.
