infoRouter Connect

Add AI to infoRouter. Keep your sensitive data at home.

infoRouter Connect is an add-on that gives your infoRouter abilities it does not have on its own: AI and other outside services, working on your documents. Scanned pages are read and made searchable. Each document gets a summary, an abstract and a one-line description. It is classified into the right Document Type and tagged with keywords. Invoice numbers, totals, due dates, counterparties and any other Custom Properties are read off the page and filled in.

All of it happens with the sensitive information stripped out first. Before a document reaches an AI service, Connect removes names, addresses, ID numbers, bank and card numbers, passwords and keys, and anything else you tell it to protect. In our own tests, 99% of planted sensitive data was stripped before the document was sent to the AI provider.

Why infoRouter, not SharePoint or Teams?

Microsoft Teams and SharePoint are excellent tools — Teams for communication, SharePoint for intranet publishing. Neither was designed as a document management system. Organizations that try consistently run into broken version control, unreliable search, and permission structures that create more work than they save.

infoRouter was built for one purpose — managing documents — and has been for 25 years. It integrates with Microsoft Office directly, so your team keeps working in Word and Excel. But the document management happens in a system designed for it.
